This is a very good motor mount, and it is very well made. Before you start to take out the pieces I would advise painting it. The natural color is a bit ugly on your plane. Two coats of spray paint on each side should do it. Let it dry. Take all of the pieces out. There is only one you won’t use. Sand down the rough spots with a coarse sandpaper. This is very important, all the pieces fit together in one direction. Don’t force it not cut out sections to make it fit. Start from where the motor will mount to the wood and build it going forward. Study the photos very carefully on the Banggood. Use wood glue to assemble each piece. Remember it only goes on way. You will notice that if there are two notches, one is wider than the other. You will want to build it exactly as you see it. When I was finished making the mount I covered it in a very thin layer of the wood glue. Mounting it to your plane. You will need to pay very close attention to the mount end. There are two areas you built up on the end the goes into the plane. This fits into the plane of you look inside. This is the first place to glue. I use UHU Por for this. If you look at the mount it looks like two boxes. The smaller box fits entirely in the Sky Surfer/Bixler 1. The second spot to glue is the circle on the outside of the Skysurfer/Bixler 1 should touch the widest part on the mount. It should sit flush against this. I put on a BR2212 1400KV motor with an 8” triple bladed propeller. It gave enough thrust to get off the ground and does fly nice. what can I say about this well it's easy to put together just follow the pic's.it seats in the back nice and firm I glued it plus hot glue round the edges it's solid now and worth every penny i know the plane will fall to bits before that comes out.in my eyes it's piece of mind having confidence in your gear and this mount certainly does that.

This works great for scratch builds or flying wings etc. Just puzzle the pieces together and you can actually make two different styles of motor mounts from this one kit. Only BG has items such as this. Thanks again BG
