philthyco stock maverick esc is 60amp ..its a hobbywing 10bl60 rebranded..The v2 has an 80amp esc tho

MechanicallyFun Hi, I still have and used the stock one in my tamiya lunchbox. The label says msc-30bl. Upon googling the specs, it is 45A not 35A. I have put in hobbywing 60bl 60 amp aswell as well in this maverick. The difference on 3s is night and day. Thanks

BG171238443 hi mate with this ESC do you have to reprogram it when you swap from 2s to 4s ? or does it auto detect the amount of cells plugged in ? thanks

MechanicallyFun it automatically detect the cells no programming required. You can use queenhobby programming card for this ESC. I'm running the ESC in my Hobao 10SC now and have tried many times with 4S, the 3 wires to motor became hot when running on 4s. 3S is best for this ESC. Cheers
