Q: How do you get the camera into setup mode? When I reset, it just factory resets and powers up - I can find no way to enter setup

Q: Why would the app require access to your location information? It has no bearing on any measurements taken.

Aliay Because it requires a fuzzy positioning to let the bluetooth device to find the device which needs to be connected.The connection process is not required to use the network, so it is safe.
