Q: I want to use this to measure the SWR of home made antenna. 1.3ghz to 5.8ghz and possibly 433mhz. Will this be suitable? and will I need any kind of adaptor? I'll be using SMA connectors.

LA5PN This is just the display. To make an WSR meter you need soldering skills and RF knowledge about how to make the SWR bridge.
