Works well, but a bit difficult to get right on Linux. Has noticeable latency (at least 200 ms), so not for real-time capture. Based on the Macro Silicon MS2109 chip, without heatsink (it gets hot). Claims to be USB3 but the connector, although blue, doesn't have high speed lanes, nor does it signal USB3 compatibility as the MS2109 is a USB2 chip; which is enough anyway if you use MJPEG @ 1080p30. Reportedly supports HDCP content decoding.

Ok, if maybe a bit slow on the edges. Runs Android TV 10 and comes preinstalled with the usual Google/Netflix/Amazon trio as well as Kodi 18.7. Device is rooted (shell accessible through USB0 when set to device mode) and has a recovery mode button hidden inside. Remote buttons are slightly noisy. Power supply is a USB charger and has loose parts inside; did not use as it may be a fire hazard.

Looks nice but audio is mediocre at best. Bass is overwhelming and treble is almost nonexistent; this can be remediated by reducing bass and boosting highs in an equalizer but that's not always an available solution.

Lightweight & small, does the job it's supposed to do. The aluminium body comes off if you pull on it so you can even keep and swap shells if one unit dies and you color-code them for certain projects/devboards. Works nice with my STM32F1 devboards using openocd on Linux. Packaged in antistatic bags even if I don't think they're really sensitive to ESD due to the way the pins are shielded by surrounding plastic. But hey, better safe than sorry.
