Q: The resolution is claimed as "Real 2Mpixels". Can someone confirm that this is actually the case?

RStubbs Hi,I moved on to the 4.3" microscope, it was more convenient to carry around. But the largest file I could find on my PC from the same microscope was 1280x1024 divided by 1000000 is approx 1.3mega pixel. I am not sure if this is limited by the software? Still it did what I needed at the time, hope this helps.

rewrew For PCB milling the vertical alignment is very important: You want to mill away only 0.05 to 0.1 mm of material. As is, the required vertical precision would be difficult to achieve. On the other hand, for PCB drilling you can just make an electrical connection to the milling-bit and to the copper surface, Now Z-probing should be possible. Personally I've switched to just online ordering boards. Small series arrive within about a week, and then include solder resist, plated through holes, and silk.

rewrew I strongly suspect that the hardware is quite-standard CNC, marlin and (Lasaer) GRBL compatible. From "Laser" GBRL: That might be geared towards "laser" applications where the laser can turn on and off on very short notice, while the spindle will take some time to spin up or -down. Or are you planning on adding a laser module?

rewrew This is a label printer. It prints 100mm or about 4 inches wide. You can buy various label sizes as long as they are not wider than that 4". So 4"x6" is certainly possible. But for example I've also seen labels offered that are 100x100 mm (4"x4", square). That should work too.

rewrew Yes, the print-width is about 100mm, but if you want to print 58 mm wide labels that's possible too. There are guides inside that you can put closer together to guide the 57mm labels to run in the middle of the machine.

rewrew Theframerate is low when you put the sensor in the highest resolution. For real-time work you can better select a slightly lower resolution, allowing things to work in real-time. For "archive" pictures you then can select a higher resolution.
Q: Is it possible to see the images in real time by the computer?

rewrew Yes. When you set the resolution to 640x480, you get fast updates and can position, zoom, pan and focus in real-time. Then you can switch to 1280x720 and take a picture. (So far I have not been able to find the 1920x1080 mode that is claimed for the sensor resolution nor the 1280x960 that is mentioned somewhere).

rewrew No, The table flexes a lot if you touch it. The rest of the microscope is quite sturdy but the table flexes a lot.
