Renault_F1 Hi John J , Try this . new alkaline batteries in controller.Fully charge drone battery,also don't charge battery after each flight,wait until battery cools down at least one hour.First turn on controller,then turn on drone.When calibrating gps keep drone in same position maybe put an X on the floor to help for exact gps positioning.When rotating drone in calibration mode rotate slowly keep drone on the X position.Before stating the drone make sure at least 6 satellite are detected on controller

Renault_F1 You need to do a calibration sequence when you first turn on the device along with the remote controller , then you need to hold up right stick to the right and left stick down to the left . Once the LED lights stop flashing , hold down both left and right sticks at the same time pushing them out to the left and right , that should start up the Craft . Then it is just a matter of pressing the Auto Take Off button , or pressing a stick up for lift off .
