Q: Can I connect to the camera if no internet access is available at home?

Flyercan You can use a computer or smart phone to connect to the camera as long as you have a wireless router powered up and the camera is connected to it via wifi as well as the phone or pc. No internet is required for this. If you wish to connect to the camera with a smart phone or pc while you are away from home so far that you no longer have connection to that router then you will need internet on the router and phone/pc to see what the camera sees.

things i found during use. sd card slot placement not obvious. cables are very short. you cant hide the power and lan connector when mounted on a wall. the split mount are great for mounting. you must connect device to cable lan to set it up WiFi must have internet access or camera rejects connection. it makes the most annoying speaker sound when connecting/searching for connection. i did a zoom test with scale but can't post pictures as banggood crops pictures that made them pointl. 500limit.
