Q: After less than 5months with very minimal use it now steps down to moonlight mode after 8-12seconds. I've tried protected & unprotected 18650 and 21700 batts but still the same. Can anyone advise please?? is this a hardware issue?

Q: On turbo mode how long does it take/runtime before it will step down?

Ken_Nichols It steps down based on temperature, so it depends on the LED(50.2 or SST40) you choose, The Battery you use, ambient temperature and the temperature of the light before you turn on turbo.

Ken_Nichols It doesn't come with one but Convoy makes 2 different clips that fit this model.

I used these to replace the stock 921 bulbs in my wife's Kia Forte. In the picture you can clearly see that the new LED bulb on the left is much brighter than the stock 921 bulb. I purchased these hoping that they would help me see things more clearly in the backup camera when backing up at night. I was right and they do help me to see things more clearly. Only time will tell how long they will last.

Ken_Nichols I ordered the 5000K but I'd say it's closer to 5500K. That being said, it's an awesome light and I am very pleased with it.
