It does what it promises but interfacing with the device is extremely unintuitive and slow. You basically just need to memorise at which screen to do a long press left, right or center. There's a clear need for an extra button or two and some positional hints on the display similarly to UM25C for example.

Great smart sockets for the price. Especially after flashing a custom firmware (Espurna in my case). The ones I got unfortunately already had a newer firmware which prevented flashing custom firmware over the air. Flashing them manually was surprisingly easy though. Remove one screw, take off the socket part and then solder five thin jumper wires on top of the PCB. Boards inside had quite a lot of flux residue which I also cleaned up in the process. I would not trust these for the 2000W that reads on the enclosure though.

BG453743901 Addional comment: I think it's actually quite a strange decision to use multiple bright blue LED's as the battery level indicator as blue LED's use the most current of the standard colors. I'm not sure though if this is a very big concern compared to the power consumption of the Raspberry itself but still worth noting.

based on quick tests it works great. The blue LEDs are too bright though. This needs to be in some kind of an enclosure or the LED's dimmed in one way or another.
