Q: is this really brass or coated steel?

Torsten The unit I received is copper plated steel - it sticks to a magnet. So this will be a bit harsh on your soldering iron tips. Should be replaced. Listing needs to be corrected.

I think the photos are self explanatory. The last one is comparison against an old Hitec HS-55 servo.

Ashu What is the actual weight of the servo, including the cable and arm?

These are nice servos. Recommended 4.8 - 6v. For their size it would be nice to operate at 3v minimum using a single 3.7v lipo. The low servo weight and size makes them very suitable for smaller planes but 4.8 - 6v would make a small plane ( 10 - 12" wing span) to heavy. A 2S lipo would be above recommended voltage at 7.4v. One could make a tiny 5v circuit but that still adds more weight.

I will use them to power my foam airplane which will use micro coreless motors. I tested with one motor prop and it gave good power. Charges fast with 2 or 3 AA cells. These are light capacitors which can be used to power your 6mm or 7mm coreless motors. Very good product!

The product is sturdy and good. The clips are solid, although they will need some padding to avoid biting into wires as they clamp tightly. Lens is clear and magnifies sufficiently. The LED lights are also good. Good product overall.
