Q: I need an input voltage of 12VDC and output of 120VDC to be used for repairing and testing solar inverters.is it possible to use this?

Curly This unit works fine at 13.8v in and 40v at 1.1A output (for charging a RYOBI Lithium ion Mower battery). But without knowing the load current required for the solar Inverter, I think it would be pushing it a bit too far

Q: Has anyone been able to get more than 500W from this unit? I tried converting from 48V input from the 2kW unit, more than enough power, to 110V, some titanium anodisation job, and it should draw around 5-6A at 100-110V, but the converter just fails, drops the voltage... In general, it always fails, sometimes at 300, sometimes at 600W, depending on the conditions, I was wondering if my unit is flawed or are they all... flawed?

Pipo W12 came in very good packing. I own Surface Pro X (first generation) with similar specs, Pipo is slightly slower. Other than that it works like charm - all the programs for ARM64 as well as Intel work identically. I am testing Intel 64 bit support within Early access program and that works very well. Do not hesitate if you want decent Windows on Arm development machine - many programs and tools already run natively (C,C++, Java, Go, Rust, Python - even with graphics, MariaDB database...), many more under emulation. Simply put - if Surface pro X is too expensive for you, go with this nice machine and you will be satisfied. With proper USB-C hub you will get Ethernet, quite a few USB ports, USB-C power charging and even 4K display support at 60Hz.
