I found it impossible to get this working simply due to the very fine enamelled wire that needed to be cleaned and soldered. I tried all sorts of chemicals, fluxes, mechanical cleaning and trying to burn off the enamel but nothing worked. Save your money

I was so impressed with one of these, that I bought two more straight away. I have got well over 800V out of mine and could have gone higher. Just needed a containment vessel for the caps. that I am charging up ;-).

This unit is FANTASTIC. I get well over 390V out for 32 V in. I only wanted it for 330V for charging some old capacitors. I just checked and gave up after going over 800V, with no load. I thin I will buy another couple just to have in stock!
