Q: hello does this controller limit the current that the motor draws (like an ebike controller would) or is the max current just peak spec. Meaning, if i put a bigger load on this controller, will it limit the current and only output 500W?

Srikkandh I put the current only 8 amp with 12v dc used in car altornator motor it’s run nice

Q: why does my board weigh 4 grams instead of 2.9 (5.5 if i connect the sbus wires!) how did that 2.9 grams get measured?

knokke Telling to buy an other receiver is not going to help. If this receiver is advertised as weighting only 2.9 g , it should not weight 4 g. So what is the real weight of this receiver when delivered ? 2.9 g or 4g as the customer is complaining ?

the mounting system is very smart, but it may take some tinkering if you have a weird bike like i do. motor has good power, you dont need an expensive sensored ESC (motor+esc+throttle~ 130usd :D ) The casing isnt very strong but it doesnt need to be, I dropped my motor, made a crack and fixed it with epoxy no problem. The rubber that makes contact with the bike wheel seemes to wear out a bit and sort of adapt to the wheel shape. but i hope it stops adapting before it reaches metal. if not ill put on a internal bike tire instead. I only have one gripe with it, and that is that the wheel is connected to the motor via belt, and i dont know how long that will last, if it breaks i hope to be able to find a replacement. Maybe it could be sold here so it saves us the time of searching for the right dimensions? (wink wink manufacturers) overall a really good versatile solution, could use tiny improvements here and there, but sp far, the price is unbeatable

BG183244545 so, if you detect a signal, can you tell what frequency it is?

A better quality device overall than is usually found in these cheaper units, but still not up to scratch. The RF detection and auto tuning seems to work quite well (although adjusting the sensitivity can be difficult) but the magnetic detector does not work at all (it just SQUEALS at me, regardless of how it is adjusted and whether the detector attachment is plugged in or not); fortunately this function is not as important as the RF. The unit is externally robust and looks professional. With some practice and experience it should prove to be effective and useful. A pity about the magnetic sensor -others have reported the same issue.

good little temp controller, you can have the power engage above or bellow a certain temperature, you can calibrate it, it is kinda easy to figure it out even without a manual

It is very obvious that it is a cheap pannel, and for the price, it realy is OK. It is esentially a bunch of cells glued onto a peace of aluminium covered by some film. There were dents and the panels seemed to have bent with them, not broken. But it is worth noting, i got nowhere near 50W. maybe the rating is made for sahara idk. i got abot 15-20W
