It is really tiny and needs to be carefull especially when trying to use it on a tablet as it moves alot. But does the job so need it, had to se it. But I think I will look for another adapter with a little cable....

The hot wire has a simple mechanism to lock it in position but it makes the cable a bit loose! Idon't have the required batteries, so I did not test it yet. But I made a DIY version of this kind of a foam-cutter and I experienced that the cable needs to be as tight as possible for the cutting movement, not loose like this. And that mechanism leaves alittle gap between the connection where it should be a danger zone!

I wanted to use it on my action camera. Tested it for a few shots. It has enough space for a few hours long video.

Keep in mind that this is a VERY LITTLE / SMALL machine. Don't expect much from such a little machine. The package was TOO BAD! It was only wrapped in a thin foam, that's why the acrylic cover was broken into pieces from both of the corners (as shown in the photos). That cover meant to hold the power button in place but it is not rigid not; removes from the section! And the rails are not easy to move; you need to be carefull with the screws... Dissapointed; especially about the packaging after paying an extra for the EMS service; it was worst than other Free Shipping alternatives :(
