Q: Is this really ONVIF compatible or just marketing lies?

cheapster I don't know about this one in particular, but the last one was just marketing lies. They wouldn't let me return it too.

cheapster It doesn't have zoom. You "zoom" by using a screen pinch just like you do on a static web page. Also, this camera is NOT ONVIF compliant, and can only be used with the V380 Pro app. The app won't run unless you give it full access to your phone, including permissions to make phone calls.

cheapster Camera has no Web interface nor will it work on anything but a phone. You can't even set it up without creating a cloud account, allowing the app to make phone calls and r/w access to your phone storage, and giving it way too much of your personal information.
