THIS KEEPS TIME WHEN POWER OFF! I have quite a few of these wood style clocks. This one does NOT have the following problem and all of the others do: they are powered by either USB OR AAA battery. If you have AAA batteries in the clock while you are powering it by USB, you risk exploding the batteries because they are not isolated from the USB current. However, if your USB power goes out and there's no battery, then the clock looses all of its settings. THIS CLOCK DOES NOT HAVE THAT PROBLEM! This clock- at least the one I got- has a separate CR2032 battery to keep the time. So you can plug it into your USB and when the power goes out, it can come back on hours later and the time is still correct.

This is the third T5 I've bought and I'll probably buy more. It is unbelievable how versatile this gadget is. I even popped a fuse on one of them because I'm a bad engineer and it was very easy to bridge it with a blob of solder. The board worked perfectly after.

Q: It doesn't look like the seller understands these questions. There are four wires that hook up to this unit. What does each wire do? How is it hooked up? How are the values of the registers determined? The description says that the display will display the values of the registers but what determines the value of the registers? How are the relays wired up with only four wires?

This is a great DEVELOPMENT DEVICE but it is nowhere near ready for use "out of the box". The device presents a WiFi access point. You can login to this access point and then load the device's webpage at http://192.168.4.1 . It shows heart rate, which is kinda accurate, sometimes, in certain cases. And there's no code at all that does any SpO2 sampling or calculations And you have to open the back to access the micro-usb charging and programming port. But if you're into this sort of thing it may provide useful to you.

This is a nice bright clock that you can see from across the room. If you want to use both charging ports at once, I recommend you buy a 4 amp 5 volt AC adapter for this clock. It's a standard 5.5 x 2.1 center positive DC connector. Note that if you use the DC jack on the back of the clock, it puts a voltage on the battery connectors- so you should not use batteries and the DC power at the same time.

Very handy to have around, except the temperature can sometimes be the internal temperature of the device- it is charging so it is hotter than normal. And you can't switch it off of 24 hour mode. But other than that it's very handy!

jctoad hold the set button. cycle through settings to temp. plus or minus to switch between c and f
