Q: How noisy is it? does it make noise even when not under load?

shallax No fan noise when under ~33°C. Quite loud above this.

Cool looking would have been perfect had they had a bit more offset compared to the original rims

The mini rc is fun to drive and fairly simple to build. However the quality of the joints is very very poor the plastic cracks when adjusted to the required measurements. In the photo you can see one of the cracks but there are several. Other than that the stock wheels are horrible looking so I opted for the aluminium ones that look much better

The stitching on the index appears to be partially undone upon opening the product. Leds work but I will have to fix it before I can actually use it
