Q: I need clarity re the symbols inside the compartment and how the batteries should be inserted. The right side has (+) and (-) inside circles PARALLEL and - and + underneath with SERIES. The left side has only (+) and (-) in circles. If I have 2x 18650 batteries, how should I insert them to ensure correct polarity? In fact, a photo or diagram of the correct alignment would be appreciated.

jbb99 It depends on whether you want your two cells to be in series or parallel. Very basic electronics:- parallel will give you around 3.7V, series will give you around 7.4v . If you want parallel, both cells are the same way round, and both leads will measure 3.7V. If you want series - insert the cells 'head to tail' i.e. follow the colour coding of the wires! I hope you haven't destroyed any circuits, blown up any batteries, or started a fire!!!

The watch looks good and functions well (telling the time!). However, sincere there is no 'crown' the user must keep touching the watch surface to change menus and selection functions. This proves tiresome after a while. For the price, it's a good intro but keep your expectations realistic!

Q: I used 2x 1*****.7V 12000 mAh batteries, but when I connected to the LN293D motor shield (on top of Arduino UNO board) EXT_PWR blue connectors the board LED did NOT switch on. It does switch on for a 9V battery or 4x1.5V AA batteries & the Bluetooth receiver does receive the signal and try to start the motors but they only 'shiver' and do not rotate enough to drive the tank forward.Are the 2x 18650 batteries too much? What battery & motor deriver combination was used by users successfully?
