Shrink tubing fits well and securely holds the wires in place after heating. Solder is a bit harder to melt, requiring the hot air gun to be set to 250-300°C before it got hot enough to flow. Outer sleeve got very soft at this heat but remained intact and was perfectly fine after cooling. Patience.

Looks like it will work. Material is a bit thinner than expected.

Not massively bright but for my use case (providing illumination for a hallway) it is adequate. Magnetic back means it can attach to any metal surface, or use the included metal strip with preapplied adhesive tape. Magnets are not the strongest though so need to be cautious. After full charge and install, it has been running on setting 3 (auto @ 50% brightness) for a few days with about 10-15 activation per day. Will be interesting to see how long battery last. Light turns on when movement detected and it remains on until no movement before fading off.

Had these for a while. Would not recommend them. Connection often drops out between each bud resulting in audio coming from one side, then the other. The charging case, while novel, doesn't always switch off the buds when closed. Thus results in the buds remaining connected to your device (in my case it was my phone) and draining the battery. Audio quality is okay.

Q: It swems this product has been permanently out of stock, are you even attempting to restock this or has it been discontinued? It has been in my wishlist for so long. I want to buy this one because it is not a polymer battery, but runs on 18650 lithium batteries. I refuse to buy the new version (version 2)

ChynaBoi It doesn't appear as though this will be back in stock. I've also been waiting to get a new one and may have to resort to tearing my old one apart to install new cells instead.

This light uses 4 LEDs as advertised but there is very little to it. The LEDs are not very bright even with a fully charged battery (where battery removed and charged externally); it'll stay lit longer. The included battery is a rechargeable Ni-MH cell though it is extremely light and the tested capacity is only 150mAh. The battery is easy enough to remove and replace with a higher capacity cell. However the higher capacity cells may never reach full charge with the solar panel on this light.
