Niall Dunne you'd be doing well to find it 5 meters away never mind 100. this is only useful for objects about 40cm away ie a hot wire or the dogs face. trying to see something about a foot big from 5meters away it'll struggle to see it.

Niall Dunne have this solar panel and charging unit measured output at 25mv it's tiddily about strong enough to make an led glow not an entire lightbulb of LEDs no just an led or make a 50c DC motor turn. if you were to try trickle charge your phone your phone would eat the current up and still be at a loss.
Q: Would this work well in a Traxxas T Maxx? would it fit straight in?

Niall Dunne the wires control the little motor in the cylindrical section which drives a threaded bar to actuate the landing gear to rotate 90 degrees and back.
