In general the overall quality was OK however my 87 year old parent was not able to operate the controls. They could not see the writing on the hearing aid controls or use the very small switch and volume wheel. Everything is just to small for elderly hands that shake. The way this hearing aid is set up for charging is better than the others that require the USB cable to be connected directly into the hearing aid. This unit has a charger that the hearing aid fits into. The USB connector plugs into the charger then into the wall adapter (not supplied). The hearing aid must be pushed and seated into the charger. The problem with this is that my parent could not remove the hearing aid from the charger. The hearing aid is held so tightly in the charger that a tool like a small screw driver would be required to remove it from the charger. The unit seemed to have an adequate level of amplification however as with all of the hearing aids we have tried so far from Banggood the howling that occurs while the hearing aids are being inserted is problematic. I am returning the hearing aid.

They were also unable to charge the unit because they could not fit the USB connector into the hearing aid. Everything is just to small for elderly hands that shake. The fixed length of the ear plug cord/tubing made fitting the hearing aid difficult and the unit was not able to be securely seated over the top of the ear. I am returning the hearing aid.

They were also unable to charge the unit because they could not fit the USB connector into the hearing aid. Everything is just to small for elderly hands that shake. This hearing aid fit over the ear better than some of the others we tried. The shape of ear piece also fit into my parents ear better. Much of this comes down to the persons individual physiology. This unit will be kept as a back up to my parents more elaborate hearing aids.
