EvertMaker I understand what you are saying but the design did take the effect od the copper in the PCB below the antenna. The area has been cleared of copper below the antenna. Any other copper below any other part will not effect the performance as it should be preferably screened as the cage around the mail chip to reduce spurious RF emissions.

This board has mistake in PCB design. Result is low WiFi network strength. To solve this problem need to desolder ESP-12F module and raise it up at 5-7mm from main PCB.

Works very well. Needs a capacitor of 22uF between GND and the reset input of the Mega when using the usb port for high speed usb (Neopixel via Glediator).
