Sdwork This is the same issue I have. The only thing cserve seems to want is a video or picture of the non connect. It is difficult to understand how that will in any way be helpful, however I have no sent them screen shots showing that it reports "disconnected" using a stratux box when using this gps but connected and getting a fix using a vk-172 gps. I have tried this gps both on the startux box and on a windows 7 box and same result. The vk-172 will be recognized, however the vk-162 does not.

The product arrived and has a USB issue. I tried two different machines, each shows a pattern of errors along the lines of "USB bus error". I have a similar version of this product from another seller (VK-172) which works fine, so I'm quite sure it's the product (not the computers) Given the nature of the errors I believe there is either a quality issue with the USB cable or the internal USB electronics
