Q: Does anyone know why 2200kv motors are discouraged?

gefragt von lanerover auf 2019-02-15 17:21:54

nick789 if you beef the wing up with a decent spar and carbon strips to the ends its ok ,i have one with 2 x 2208 2200kv for scale flying , and another one with 4 x brother hobby 2206 2600kv on 4s , 6inch hq tri blade props and differential thrust for crazy 3d flying . its about a 5-1 power ratio so careful throttle management is a must lol

Q: Hi, a lipo 3S 2200mha will be ok or not.thanks

nick789 rubbish a 3s 2200 is a perfect fit underneath crossways butted up behind the front bulkhead above the front pair of wheels , you will just have to remove about a 5mm layer of foam from the fuz to make room for height of battery , done like this it wont need straps, velcro or hatches cut and the cg is spot on with the standard setup

Q: Please ask them to add 20x20 holes for FC/ESC

gefragt von frimen auf 2018-08-17 08:36:27

nick789 i wud just drill new holes ,i do it all the time ,its a very easy job to do if you use a 20x20 adapter plate as a jig / template {availble on here} use a quality drill bit and a scrap piece of carbon or wood underneath it to stop the bit from ripping through the last layer. hope that helps
