Koskee Odd that they avoid displaying the maxwell logo in the pictures, if theyre actually real maxwell. If anything that logo would increase the perceived value of the item.

Q: what is "secret room? Can I use this in a custom made mount over my wood lathe to lightly etch wood?

Koskee Doubtful. Wont be strong enough. Need prob at least 0.5-2W optical power, but on a lathe will probably require more than that, because of cooling effect of spinning. The 3-5W blue models should work for around $100 (make sure to research adequate safety glasses, DON'T use the ones that come with the laser - they're shit and you WILL blind yourself!)

Koskee EDIT: The images showing only 9 contacts on the back of the card is incorrect. I received a card with the full 17 contacts, and benchmark showed writing 124.91-174.26MB/sec. It appears to be a legitimate V90 card.
