CommandoBot Hm ... the PS suggested before is 12V ... that most likely would grill the LEDs ... You either can use several 5V Power supplies in parallel. You just need to split the +5V rail into equal sized segments and connect one supply for each segment. Ground needs to be connected since also the data line is referencing to that one. Another opportunity are older PC power supplies. They usually have quite some power at 5V ... The disadvantage of that is the voltage drop might be quite large so that the LEDs on the far end might appear dim or in the worst case stop working reliable. But I never checked the resistance of the power areas on those strips. I use the first approach and it works fine.
