I buy a cheap extension cord for 2 bucks, then wire this in, but leaving the earth cable in place, that was you still have an earth, and can move these around to any device you like. Works perfectly with ewelink on googlehome, so I can say 'hey google, turn off the power in xxxx Room. I have them in 4 rooms so far, and these additional 2 will do the last two rooms. I will be ordering three more to hardwire into the kids cieling fans - which they leave turned on all the time. By utilising ifttt, when the kids leave the house, it cuts the power to their rooms and their ceiling fans then too - no more checking on their rooms.
