This is exactly what I have been waiting for. I small light CCD low light FPV camera for my favorite 200 and below quadcopters. If you peel back the sticker on the back of the camera you can see it is a sony 1/2" CCD sensor. It also works wonderful in daylight conditions also. So there is no need to worry about changing camera for day or night! Way to go Runcam! I will outfit all 7 of my micro quads with this masterpiece! Buy it! there will be no regrets! Pros: Wide FOV which doesn't feel distorted or out of place. Very good low light performance, far better than any other camera I have tried. Small compact design makes it easy to mount in most applications. Seems well built and I haven't had any problems with it. Cons: Colour saturation in daylight isn't great. If you compare it to just about any CMOS or CCD camera it looks very average. Swapping between bright light and darkness (i.e. very shady areas) can be slow and result in a brief blackout. The resolution also seems bad, although the 700TVL spec says its not. Overall I recommend it highly if you want to do dusk/evening flights. If you want a daylight camera get a Sony SuperHAD. Just remember this is an IR camera and needs some light to operate. It will not work in very dark or pitch black situations.

I bought it for my quadcopter 250 and 150 size and the cam is very good for low light. For daylight it is not very good if I compare it with the PZ0420M

Great cam for this price, but with something more u can get the owl plus! If you are searching for something really small then take this one. The IR filter can be removed from the lens very easily if you are going to use this at night, maybe with some infrared illuminator.

Картинка черно-белая и найти дорогу назад проблематично, ориентиры.трудно различимы. У этой версии настроек нет, для дня и сумерек хватит. Днем искажет зеленый цвет, отбеливает его.

En el modo color (día) no tiene mucha calidad, colores demasiado saturados y poco detalle. En el modo blanco y negro, comparándolo con el otro modo, sorprende en detalle y luminosidad. Para mi gusto sería perfecto si se pudiese elegir manualmente el modo y dejarlo siempre en blanco y negro.
