this is my second lot of these , they are super bright well made and very easy to install I have wired them to a plug for 240v and also cut the transformer off and wired then direct to 12v either way they work superb very happy with them

Die Lampen (ich habe 6 davon verbaut) sind durch den Federmechanissmus sehr einfach in 72mm Bohrungen einzubauen. Die Lichtausbeute ist sehr gut und können im 6er Pack einen 15m² Raum problemlos ausleuchten. Die Hitzeentwicklung ist sehr moderat, die Lampen lassen sich auch nach Stundenlangem Betrieb locker anfassen, da sie nur leicht warm sind. Durch die Milchglasabdeckung verteilt sich das Licht sehr gut im Raum.

The AC driver is connected by a connector so is easy to ditch when using DC (AC would require a professional electrician, costing much more than the lamps). With the supplied AC driver I measured 15.8 V and 259 mA which would mean 4 watts - 20% less than advertised, not that far really. Driving by DC 5 Watts would require 300 mA and about 16.5 volts, thus I'll need a boost and current regulator to run off a 12 V line. Internally there are ten LEDs; five parallel LED pairs in series, each LED 150 mA and forward voltage of 3.3 volts for the advertised power. Would be easy to connect those five LED pairs in parallel for a more convenient 3.3 V / 1500 mA suppy, but that would require opening them all which is difficult without damaging the diffuser or the rim. Light seems fine for a 4 / 5 W lamp, haven't installed them yet to know if my six lamps are enough for the space.
