You get what you pay for that's for sure. If you were to compare this to let's say a TRX4 since they look almost the same the quality of this rc car is worse than the TRX4. Of course, these two cars are in a different price ranges for a reason. The plastic is a little flimsy and the shocks are not so good in my opinion. The design with a locking pin inside the shock is asking for problems in the future and the springs are way too stiff. 3 out of 4 dampers moved somewhat smoothly when the springs were removed, while one required force as it would not move smoothly. When I say 3 dampers moved smoothly I mean relative to the one that moved crushily. There is a steel washer in the o-ring assembly on the shocks seal, maybe changing it to something else will loosen the shock movement? The steering servo is also weak and the tires are made of a slightly harder compound. So it has the look of another rc car on the market, but that's also the only similarity, the looks. Maybe some spare parts can fit between the two models. Is it worth the price then? Yes, I think so, although I think it needs upgrades like new servo, new shock absorbers and new tires, it's a perfectly fine RC car and of course it's drivable straight out of the box.
