Assembly was easy. Make sure you leave the photo sensor and thermistor long enough to bend toward the case. Worked the first time I put voltage to it. It gains about a minute every few days. I wish I could contact the designer to ask for a fix or a variable POT to adjust the clock circuit. Also I didn't see the option for the interface installation kit. I would really like that also. All and All I really enjoy putting it together. Its a great kit for the price. I am going to get some for some of my friends for X-Mas.

warmbell My clock gained about 12 minutes a day after trying to find a fix I tried placeing a 22pf capacitor accross C4 and C5 in turn, found that c4 was open circiut. I replaced it with a 40pf trimmer and now find I can make small adjustments to the timing. If there is a future version of this clock it would be a good idea to add a TXCO IC which gives a stable 32768 Hz output to the RTC IC.
