High torque motors. With the worm gears when there is no power applied motor locks itself.

Jay yesit does a good job of locking in position. That is one reason I bought this unit. But I also wanted them to reverse direction. I bought two of these and could not get either one to reverse direction. Motor was trying to move but the gears were jammed. Flip the power leads back and it would work fine. Opened up the gear box but I could not see any defects. I even added a very small amount of grease to a couple of gears. This was no help.
