This torch privides most almost all functions you might need in a torch, maybe except long range search light ... - powerful white light with several power levels - Red light for illuminations in darkness to avoid eye adaptarions to the light - Green light for hunting and to search for blood strains - Blue ... blue ... blue ... well, because it is cool - UV for checking money, minerals and more Nevertheless, there is a downside ... The UV output is quite bright in the visible spectrum as well ... but I have to admit it is difficult to include a filter since you have the other colors as well. The white LED sits in the center of the reflector and it provides a nice clean spot. All the other colors are aranged around the white LED and are off focus of the reflector. The bad thing is that exactly in the center there is a dark spot in the beam which is quite significant ... that makes it a little bit difficult to use as regular flashlight. A different arrangement and form of the reflector could have softened that effect ... still off center and some less quality beam, but the blind spot is too significant to be ignored ...
