It isn't all that bright and when I zoom all the way out I get this little square of light with lines running through it. It looks like a lit up printed circuit board. Three meters from the wall it projects a 30cm by 30cm square. You can't really call this a flashlight. This is maybe 200 lumens. What is wrong with this light?

teknokraze This is typical of a single LED flashlight. At full zoom it focuses the light so well it defines the LED nodes on the wall. I typically don't give them full, but instead close to full zoom when focusing the light. Why you're supposedly not getting full lumens is questionable. Bad battery/batteries? These are definitely brighter when using the AAA adapter because you get 5.7V at full charge instead of the 3.7V from an 18650 Lipo/Li-ion.
