Must state this is the first venture into FPV for me, so keep that in mind. Having ordered this camera/VTX combo to take up the slack between having my new FPV goggles and assembling a wing/VTX combe. Well, the TX03 did the trick it has been on two different fixed-wing aircraft for four flights. Had some questions about the range and power usage but the little unit did exceed my expectations. One time while looking for landmarks I dove down to have a better look at a house (I fly on a large sod farm with no houses) it was across the highway from the farm, the range is good for me. Used a few 500 mah 3.7 batteries that did well but need to be changed on every flight. The last flight (with the house spotting) was way past the 8 minutes on the transmitter timer, as I had spent quite a bit of time crossing back and forth across the river. The power was set on full just as it came out of the box. Also flipped on landing while mounted on the cowl. Simply straightened the antenna and went on. This little camera has me hooked on FPV already, so much so that the wing is still on the bench, while there has been time made to get to the field and make mounting.mods between flights. Easy setup, good performance and tough at a low price. That is why it gets five stars from me. What more could be expected?
