This T-28 was the best of the three War Bird Series for me. I ended up buying all three because I lost the first two. The P51 was my first RC Plane ever. It climbed off over the trees on its first flight and was gone. The turn around button is useless. There went $85.00. I then got The F4 Corsair and learned how to keep it in sight. But It would never take off. Not once. As a tail wheel, It kept nosing over and breaking props. That got expensive. So I just hand launch that one now. I tried again with a second P51. Same thing with the tail wheel. Noses over on take off. So I took the wheels off and simply hand toss and belly land. Finally bought The T-28 because it has tricycle gear. It takes off and lands! Also It feels just a tad more stable than the other two. After a crash or letting them sit for a while, its a good idea to "re-set" the gyro so they fly nice and level. For some reason I don't have to re-set the T-28 gyro nearly as much as i do with the other two. Once you get proficient with the controller, these planes are a lot of fun. If you are new to RC planes like me, fly them in a really open area. Trees have a way of eating these things! HINT: The props for the Mini Cessna are easier to find and work fine on all three warbirds, the T28, The Corsair and the Mustang. The red mustang props will ONLY work with the mustang.
