very simple, just a clock with radio nothing else for same money 10 years ago i bought a clock with radio, exterior sensor, auto adjust ( radio-controlled clock ), projection clock to wall, search for oregon clock and you will be surprised i don't say it should be same but at least a battery slot it's a must for settings and clock memory, alarm function is useless without this
