Unit received as expected, both for quality and time. It's a very good value for money. I was able to expand my unit from 124 to 178 MHz in VHF band and from 385 to 575 MHz in UHF (TX up to 525 MHz). My preferred software to programming the radio is Chirp. Output power (High) in VHF about 6W, and 5W in UHF. About 2W for Low setting. Output Harmonic distortion is good if tuned from ham band on, becoming poor as the frequency decreases to the beginning of each band.

Sebastiao Recebi ontem dia 26 /11 o meu UV-5RE Plus e estou satisfeito. Eu julgava que fosse um pouco maior em tamanho, mas ainda bem que é pequeno. Já comuniquei com algumas pessoas e me deram boas referencias da recepção .
