A very handy tool to work with. I use VLFs everyday in my work this are very good tools to find broken fibers, bad slpices and locating terminals. This one is surely cheap and does a proper work. Alluminium body makes it sturdy for the field. One swith with tree positions: ON - OFF - PULSE. Plastic protective cap. Uses 2 x AA batteries , i use ni-mh rechargeables and works good and for long time. Its 10mW, i dont have any way of measuring this but it reaches good lengths even in GPON nets. Mine came in a nice cardboard box with carry bag, a strap and two 2.5mm replacement ferrules. Overall a very proper tool for the work, it does what is has to do, you can be a bit careless with it because is sturdy AND cheap, if it breaks you can buy a couple more. It arrived in just 2 weeks, NICE!
