Product do as advertised, use it with 18650 to boost V to 12v and drive some led strips. You just need to watch out how much power VxA your battery can deliver. Led strip 1m-60 leds (0.02 A), pulls around 14.4 W, so battery needs to deliver 3.7 x 4A, only really good one can do that. So I recommend using maybe 1m30led, or step up your voltage to 11.6 V so led can draw much less A. Pot is really sensitive, couple of full circles ccw and then really small steps. When you position pot on value you need, put some tape over it so it does not move. I burned couple of them, they move from 11.5 to 12.5 just by moving them from place to place. Led was pulling too much A.
