A battery of 1500mAh need a C rating of 105 which is more realistic. This is of course the optimal value and situation, for max throttle from start to end. The lipo batteries are able to supply burst Current for 30s or so and that is for some quad pilots enough that they can get a lower C rating but keep in mind you stress the battery and it won't last that long if you push the throttle. So in the end you need to know what the Current draw is from the motor not you ESC. You'll get a feeling for it and you will probably burn some batteries. If you really want to be 100% sure you can turn on your amp draw in the OSD but not all FC support that and it sometimes needs calibration. So basically you need to test a battery to find out. How I do it you, look at what the current draw is from your motor which some manufacturers supply or people test on YouTube and take 80 percent of that static test value, on hand that you calculate your C rating.
