helgjohn As far as I know it only works in simple mode No touch screen on stock board, and to use the touch screen option you need to up grade mother board. The stock mother board is so tailor made for its use that custom is not an thing here. There is no differ regards to stock mother board on Ender 3 or the E 3 pro version. so same limits and issues regarding programming Hardware and so on are at play. One way to get all or more options out of your printer is replace mother board, there are several alternativs from BTT or MKS that will work both better and give you more options and a silent printer......... MKS is a bit cheaper price wise than BTT but are basically the same. I have several bords running on my printers from MKS and BTT and they work fine. The mother boards I have found works best is MKS Robin E3D 32Bit - MKS SGEN L 32-Bit ARM Cortex-M3 - MKS SGen_L V2.0 32Bit or the BTT SKR V1.3 - skr 1.4 - skr 1.4 turbo Control Board 32 Bit ARM CPU 32bit. Whit tmc 2209 or 2208 drivers The price for full packet is somewhere between 190 to 350 us dollar pending on where you buy.....

SorinB At first, the size. Another difference is that the TFT35 V3.0 has a dedicated header for WiFi module and the EXP 3 header for CR10 mainboard connection using only one cable.

Q: Can you supply larger unit. We are looking for 1x1x1m printer

gefragt von MANOS auf 2020-04-08 10:31:17

chocksaway Stupid answer, "You can scale it as you want it" Rubbish, it's made to be a specific size and that's it. Unless of course you wish to make it smaller. I'm building my own box made from PVC electrical tubing. All up cost.around $100 USD. I anyone hasn't noticed this thing is overbuilt to blazes. 6 pieces of metal are redundent (not needed), unless the builder intends to stand on the damned thing.

chocksaway Sadly the thermometers in these clocks and other like it aren't known for their accuracy. I had 7 of them running on my bench and all bar 2 had different temperatures and those 2 were wrong. The best way to check them is to place the back of your hand on the clock's case and if it feels cold the temperature will be low. The opposite if it feels hot. If you're sweating it should read higher. Sorry, couldn't resist.

chocksaway BangGood doesn't supply them ready built, but I'll give you the same offer as another buyer. If you live in Australia, send me 3 clocks, I will build two for yourself and post them to you. My payment will be the extra clock. I'm retired now, but when I was working I was earning $125 an hour, so I'm taking a big pay cut :-) By the way, I'm 71, a returned serviceman, disabled and own my own home, I will not do a runner with your clocks. It'll take at least $1,500,000 to get me to take off and then it'll be in my wheelchair. I will give you my home phone number and address for your peace of mind.

Q: can i buy the clock ready made? i will pay extra (not too much tho)

chocksaway Wgere do you live? If you're an Aussie asl BangGood to send the kit to me and I'll send it on whan it's built. I can just about build them in my sleep. Everyone who visired home wanted one. I'm too soft to say no. If you wish to pay a little and for shipping it on, send me three. I'll build two and post them to you. Unfortunately shipping elsewhere in the world will be more than you pay for the clock.

chocksaway I think you problem could be the capacitor ot capacitors alobgside the Crystal, Changing the values can get the crystal to start oscillating. I've built more than a dozen of these, but that was about two years ago when they were mono colour. I'm afraid old age gas helped me forget what those caps were. If they're 10pf change them to 20pf (that's just an example, not the actual values) When you pinch the crystal you're actually changing the values via you skin. See you're a walking talking capacitor. Multi talented aren't you? :-)

chocksaway You're not stupid, the majority of the world's population wouldn't be able to build it either. I'm sure YouTube will have more than one video which will help you. Get searching. Good luck.

chocksaway I assure you the "CLOCK" does a lot more than just one thing. Yes there's programming involved and it's surprising just how much can be crammed into some of the IC's. Look at the various modes just the tiny LEDs have. I can't recall just how many there are buy quite a few. Then there's the alarms and text which can wish you merry Christmas or your family members Happy Birthday. Then there's the automatic switching between functions, time, temperature and so on. No it does more than just one job, perhaps you should buy one and see for yourself.

chocksaway Unfortunately BangGood likes to make money more than warning buyers they need a certain level of knowledge to build various kits they sell. SMD components are extremely hard to handle if you're new to soldering and you need to lnow a few little tricks to succeed in building kits involving them. A good eys, a steady hand are important, but the number one point is a good soldering iron. Avoid the TinLess solder. Use 60-40 solder and a littlre flux will help although I prefer to rely on the flux inside the solder. A good knowledge of components is paramount as the "instructions" tend to believe the buyer knows a little more than usual. All I can advise is seeking out a friend or maybe a ham radio operator. More than once I've been asked to help a newbie out, The only thing I won't do is try to troubleshoot something which looks as if it's been soldered with a blowtorch. Unfortunately it's impossible to troubleshoot something on linem otherwise I'd be happy to help. But do a little detective work on YouTube, there are hundreds of videos showing how to figure out what values components are and how they're orientated. If you ask politely and use please and thank you, there are many guys who will give a little help. Most people are willing to help someone who's obviously trying to learn. Good luck, I hope you buy one, but I will give one little tip, try something a little easier to start off with. The feeling of sarisfaction when you've

chocksaway Obviously you over rate yourself. Nobody is a "professional Solder" the art of soldering usually comes with whatever job you have. You may solder for a living but as a technician, assembly line worker etc. or simply a hobbyist. Plus it's incorrect grammar also. Equally obvious is the fact you may be able to solder, but you haven't a clue about electronics. A very importent part of the trade is fault finding, if you knew electronics you would be able to figure out why it isn't working. Do you have a multimeter to go with your professional soldering iron? That can solve just about every problem, especially in such a simple circuit. I liked the way you've passed the buck onto BangGood for your inabilities. It's not their fault you've messed up. Did you expect them to replace or refund after you've made your mistakes? They won't give you any refund and I don't blame them, it's your fault, nobody else's. You could of course have a faulty STC12C5A60S2, but with the circuit diagram it's easy enough to troubleshoot it. There are many reasons for your failure, from dry joints, short circuits, open circuits, misplaced components and many, many more. I've built 6 or 7 of these clocks for friends and family and apart from a few bad LEDs they all worked at switch on. Just one has last a partial digit in the main clock, but after 2 years that's not bad. So don't blame anyone else, after all, you built it.

Q: is this dangerous to people if they look at the UV light itself

gefragt von skip masciarelli auf 2020-03-30 09:19:46

chocksaway This lamp will burn the hell put of your skin just by being in the same room as it. It's not a "sunburn" type burn it's deep basal cell burn which will leave scarring and is extremely painfull. A gentleman on Youtube bigclivedotcom did a warning only last week about these units and he really explained in detail how bad they are if you hang around in the same room. And here's BangGood advertising them with a young girl and a dog asleep only inches from the lamp. That poor girl, if it was real, would be permanently scarred for life, if she didn't die first. Shame on BangGood for not doing any research on them. Just one of these lamps in a 12 x 12 foot room will kill everything in it. Fleas, mites and bacteria and anything small. You should place it in a room, leave quickly and place a sign on the door warning people to stay out. If it's your home, tell every family member it's a no go zone. I'm not lying, they are great for killing bacteria etc, but not arounf humans or pets.
