Q: I’m a noobie. So the battery is a 7.4v 1500mAh. 2s. I bought a spare at local shop and it is a 7.4v 1300mAh 30c. It is more powerful and last longer but the mAh is smaller. Why is this?

gdawgmurksta because it is an actual name brand multiple cell battery probably lipo battery the batteries that come with the RCs to start with are really cheap bottom line

Q: I’ve read threads of people using a 11.1 battery saying it will make car reach max speed. I’ve also read not to use 11.1 it will burn up esc. So which is it? 11.1 good or bad?

BG165036440 Both it will be faster and could burn up esc. I run 3s on mine all day and it gets hot but hasn’t burnt yet. But will he do fast and fun, why I do it, just check temp every so offen

Q: This car is plenty fast for me, but I’d like a battery that lasts a bit longer. Does the 7.4v 3000mAh last longer over the 1500mAh?

Gus Yesof course! The more mAh the more running time! But the 7.4v should not be exceeded!!! It is very important!

Q: I assume this servo will be ok for a Traxxas Trx4 or Axial SCX10 III? I currently have a red one and I noticed once in a while it craps out. I’ll turn the control knob and it will barley move. try again it will then move. I’m running a BEC as was advised.

For what is considered a cheap rock racer, this car is awesome. I want another one or two so my friends can race with me. I’ve already crashed it and repaired it myself. I’m learning how to tune it.

BG355720495 I read in an earlier thread not to use 11.1 battery that it will cause issues with esc. I’ve also read 11.1 will make available this cars full potential. Who’s right?
