Andrew Doug, I agree! The earth receives about 1Kw per square meter, so say about every 10 square feet. If the panel is 1sqfoot then I would expect 100watts to be received. But the solar cells are only about 25% efficient so we can expect a maximum of about 25 watts? I really wish there was some clarity on this issue and on this website in particular. Caveat emptor?
