No correct user manual no installation guide. - The unit is fast and has a nice display. - Steering wheel buttons work great. - Power handling is poor. Too high volume, too low a voltage causes reboot. - Sygic not installed, no license key. Home screen can be extended with extra screens by dragging icons to it. The Nav button can be coupled to your favourite Navigator, for me Sygic. The Radio has RDS and shows the station's name. Pre-set names are fixed. Phone via BT is normal, including phonebook (more on this later). BT music includes the tags for covers, titles etc. Video plays the formats as described in good quality. Media players does not present data in an understandable order. No options to select albums, artists or titles. No search function. My preference is to list folders and traverse them. In Sygic it is very convenient to select addresses from the phonebook. After using the sync button in the phone app, Sygic finds no contacts; the phone book does not contain those after synching. Solution is to install the Contacts app from Google and have contacts synced. Then Sygic will recognise contacts if the Address field is filled and named 'Address'. Do not sync your phonebook after that, it removes the information again. You cannot, like for Navigator couple your own favourite apps to the Home screen buttons. You can install your own players, use them, add widgets on a home screen page, but the interaction between players is not always as nice with the factory ones. When your player is active and you choose the Radio (button) that will sometimes only work when you pause your own app. In the same way the factory widget for the media player on the home screen will most likely not show your active player. Would I buy it again? I would, but only for the flash deal price. It is fast, display is nice, your apps can and will work. It is not as hassle free as a car's head unit should be though, but I'll get used to it.

stiefbeen22 After 3/4 year of usage and trying, big deal breaker is the totally useless internal microphone (no external available either). People will NOT hear what you are saying. The level is low and nothing helps to improve. I made it external, so I can hold it in ftont of my mouth. I would not buy this unit again.

Q: Being a 7 inch screen, is that the hand of a toddler?

stiefbeen22 On top of the display is a rectangle that is the key/button to spit screen. In general options you can specify whether the navigation should be on the left or right side of the split window. In my case the navigator seems to freeze in split mode though.

The unit is really nice. Without a good way to mount it i had to 3d print some mounting hooks for my car. After that it worked great. I'm disappointed that i can't create shortcuts to specific contacts so i don't have to search for people ever time i try to make a call. It would also be nice if i could just voice dial but this doesn't appear to be an option either. One of the big issues for me is that i can't get to the developer options like i would be able to on any android device. It sure would make extending the unit a possibility. The gps works well and having waze on a large screen is really nice. The backup camera works great, and surprisingly it will turn on even if the unit has not yet fully booted. takes about 30-90s to boot which is about what i was expecting. Steering wheel controls worked perfectly and with the little unit i got here on banggood i was able to add controls even though my steering wheel didn't have controls stock. For the life of me i can't find any way to split the screen for navigation. No instructions on that and i don't think that is even a feature that really exists on this unit. Also for the steering wheel controls the play, pause, next, prev only seem to work with bluetooth connected device, They won't control any app running on the unit itself (such as spotify). If i'm wrong about any of this and the manufacturer can provide me with solutions (i'd really really like dev tools) please help me and i'll adjustg the review but without that i'd sum up the review with this. Good: Very low cost for the value screen looks great, GPS works well backup camera works and works immediately Steering wheel controls work and are very convient. Cons: No developer tools No contact shortcust No voice dialing No Split screen Steering wheel controls won't control spotify Even with all of that i would recommend the unit. ps Word of advice. don't remove the protective screen cover on the unit. smudges galore
