Q: Can any person who has purchased this item, provide dimensions of the track it fits?

BG211421145 I have not got the dimensions to hand but they are in the description and this will fit a makita rail or Festool as per description

BG211421145 I have both sizes of this and they are both perfectly square. I have heard of people saying they received one slightly out and that after slacking off the screws that allow it to fit on the rail and wiggling it around a bit to re-aline it before tightening it up again has fixed any slight deviation!

BG211421145 These are really intended for woodworking not welding. I am sure you could repurpose these but given their material (aluminium) they are made out of I would highly recommend not using them for welding.

The seller Hello friends, the battery is a rechargeable battery. But it is not a USB interface.

BG211421145 It is compatible with Festool, Triton, Scheppbach,Makita and all that are shaped like the Festool rail. I am using it with a Makita rail and it works perfectly

BG211421145 It does tell you in the description further down but A comes with the matching pen or pencil (can’t remember which one right now) and B does not

BG211421145 There are a number of ways around this but probably would add up to more than it costs to buy this and you would need to be quite tech savvy. One would be to unsolder the pick up cable and solder in a dedicated the mandolin pickup. The other is dependent on the bridge your mandolin currently has as it might be possible to somehow install the pickup wire it comes with under your mandolin bridge (probably would need to cut down the length of the wire though). My biggest concern would be how or where you are going to install the blend box as I imagine it is going to be too big to put in to the side of a mandolin (you would either need to install in the front or back or a break out box which in itself would creat a whole new set of problems for you) hope this helps!?

BG211421145 It does work with Makita very very well. The fit is nice and tight without being awkwardly stiff and the one I receive was perfectly square out of the box but would suggest you check and tweak it in the same way you would with anything! A couple of cuts using off cuts should give you a clear indicator
