Q: Has anyone actually used these? Mine were totally non-functional, blunt, no cutting geometry. Let me know if anyone actually managed to drill into wood with these.

Tracy I use it and it works, just start it at 45 degree at first and then make it straight.

Looks great, and works fine, it does not have a micro usb connector though, but a Lightning connector (cable included).

Flickers like crazy, and gets very very hot. A ton of light though, so very helpful. But do expect to be needing a ginormous heatsink.

They looked pretty good and sticky when first unpacked. I thooroughly cleaned and dried the tiles in the bathroom (walk in shower), also used isopropyl alcohol to make sure all grease is gone. Stuck on the stickers, which seemed to stick really well. Unfortunately though, the adhesive backing used is not water resistant, so within two minutes of showering, nearly all of them became loose. Shame, because they look pretty good (more transparent than the white shown in the pictures).

Nice, works well, does get warm when continuously energised, but that is to be expected. Good holding force.

Very sturdy build, excellent images, well packaged. Not dirt cheap when compared to some of the other offerings, but well worth it. Very sharp images.

This seems to be a very good tool! It is sturdy, well finished, accurate. Keen on trying it out when building the shed. No batteries included, so arrange some yourself (2xAAA).

The rulers look sturdy enough, there's a spare battery and one is mounted, all good! However, even when making a measurement equipment that is not very expensive, how about making something that actually works? One end of the measuring scale has 0.8degree of deviation, when checked against a square block and fixed angle, the other end has a whopping 1.5degree deviation. Do not take the specs on the packaging too seriously. Do better.......

These knobs are two rungs below knobs bought at electronics shops. The diameter is almost 19mm, and the height is 10mm. The diameter is a VERY tight fit on a 1/4" smooth pot shaft. They have some flash left from the injection moulding, but that can be cleaned up.
