These things are great. They just work. Easy to hook up to ESP32 (using I2S). I'm not sure I really need 32-bit audio, but it can always be scaled down. I ordered a second one. I will recommend soldering the headers on with the microphone opening facing UP, rather than down toward your breadboard or PCB as pictured. I don't need to see the chip, just pickup the sound!

In Arduino IDE (1.8.6) Install ESP32 support JSON, Select ESP32 Dev Module in Board Manager, use 115200 "Upload" speed.

This little I2C (or any mono- or bi-directional 2-wire bus) level converter works just fine. There is nothing in the description that indicates that there is an on-board LDO 3v3 regulator. This is handy if you need it (to supply the 'B' voltage). Not so handy if you don't know it's there and apply 3v3 to the "BVCC" pin whilst applying 5v to "AVCC". Probably not a crisis, but you would be shorting two power supplies together. A close look at the photos in the listing show the presence of the 5-terminal device in addition to the pair of MOSFETS.

These are great! Excellent price, lots of power & support, quality build, very useful. EN (RST) & BOOT buttons are on the bottom side. (BOOT/FLASH button is unnecessary). Device is NOT breadboard-friendly at 0.9" row centers.

Q: How many digital pins and analog pins ? Like in arduino uno r3, There is 6 analog pins and 14 digital pins.

polypagan esp32 has 2 adc's each of which has an analog mux on input (like Uno). this board had 6 analog input in usual location. on digital side, pins go rxd, txd, gpio26 (dac2), 25 (dac1), 17, 16, 27, 14, then 12, 13, 5, 23, 19, 18. followed by gnd, rst, sda, scl.

Impulse buy. Seemed like a good idea. An Internet search would have found it for significantly less. Low resolution makes it difficult to use, both because it's a tiny desktop, and also because it's non-standard. It does work, at least with the canned software linked.

I have only tried 1 of the 4 units I purchased and I'm not set up to test over full range of input voltage & current. The output regulated to 5 volts as soon as input increased to 7.5 v. Remained regulated as high as 28 v. Load (cell phone) only drew about 1.5 A. Device remained cool.

Somehow, mine didn't come with heatsink. No big deal, that. I seriously doubt this is a WeMOS product. There is no mention of it on their webpage. Also, note that the pinout diagram does NOT correspond to the device. Very rough appearance, I took a file to the raw edges of the PCB. The screws that attach the display (good idea!) are flathead, despite not being countersunk. Ugly. Panhead screws would be much better. (Can a PCB be countersunk?) OLED address is standard for SD1306 = 0x3c, SDA = 4, SCL = 15, RST = 16. I found I had to pulse 16 low in setup (before OLED driver begin() or init(). Red LED on on 2. The upside: It works! It's very cheap for this much function.

is this merely a cost reduction? BUILTIN_LED works differently. Nonetheless, these are useful boards. Good price too!

t The world is changing from 5v to 3v3, but we're not there yet. In the meantime, breakouts like this make life easier. This 2-channel version is great for I2C or anytime you only need to level shift 2 signals. It is bidirectional. Has 3v3 LDO on board.

The breakout PCB is good, comes with pin strip. Works fine. BME280 is apparently a pretty flawed sensor. Temperature reads high (apparently from self heating), humidity not as believable as DHT11, pressure hard to verify (not fault of device, it just is).

Two shortcomings: USB cable is very short (60 cm) Power supply is only 500 mA. Other than that, works okay. I bought this for my Arduino workbenches & I am using it. Awkward & underpowered.

I bought this to use with ATtiny85. I haven't gotten it to work with known good code for ATtiny85 or ATmega328P (nano). It does respond to SPI scanner with address 60 (0x3c), which is correct for SH1106 controller. OLED doesn't show anything, so far.

These would be a lot easier to evaluate and use if the spacing between the pin headers was a multiple of 0,100" (2,54 mm). These are 11.0 mm (0.43") between rows. SO THEY DO NOT FIT ON A BREADBOARD!
