Datboy503 I have mine installed in a mini Traxxas Slash so it should fit just fine. I also just used the same pinion

BG820113175 that would require replacing with brushless esc also. For the drifting purposes the brushed motor is plenty fast enuff

JoelRCGarage i did take the risk, i used 3S lipo from JLB cheetah it runs great so far i got no problem not roasted watch it to my YT channel i installed it to my HSP97401 .. i jist shared my experience if you want to try 3S its up to you to decide. 2S is safier.
